Graduating from NTU in 1986, Professor Maw-In Tsai acquired his Master and Doctor of Laws from Nagoya University. He was a visiting scholar at Harvard University and Associate Professor at the Department of Public Administration at Tamkang University in Taiwan, and is now Professor of Law at NTU. Professor Tsai specializes in administrative law, public finance law, local government law and social security law. His consultative activities included serving on the Law and Regulation Commission (Ministry of the Interior), the Law and Regulation Commission (Council of Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan), the Petitions and Appeals Committee (Executive Yuan), and the Petitions and Appeals Committee (Executive Yuan). He is a current consultant to the Bureau of National Health Insurance.
