Heng-da Hsu is Full Professor at National Taiwan University College of Law. He received his Bachelor and Master of Laws from NTU. Sponsored by DAAD, Professor Hsu furthered his research in criminal law and penal policy at University of Frankfurt, Germany, earning his Dr. iur. degree (summa cum laude) in 2008. He specializes in criminal law, intellectual history of criminal punishment and penal policy. Professor Hsu has published numerous articles and books in Mandarin, German and English. He joined NTU College of Law in 2020.
