Born in Taipei City in 1961, Professor Tzu-Chiang Chen completed his LL.B. and LL.M. at NTU and graduated with his LL.D. from Ludwig-Maximilian University in Germany in 1992. Professor Chen specializes in property law, while his publications mainly cover contract law and he has written on unjust enrichment involving banks and the reconstruction of the tort law system within the civil code. He has been a Professor at the College of Law, NTU, since 2003 and teaches Civil Code, Contract Law, Torts, and Estate Law.
