Call for papers


The East Asian Conference on Philosophy of Law is the largest Jurisprudence Conference in Asia. Scholars from Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan have been presenting papers in this conference. The Ease Asian Conference of Law has become a forum for Asian jurisprudence scholars to communicate. The 6 th Conference held in May, 2006 will be hosted by College of Law of National Taiwan University. It is the first time that Taiwan has the honor to host this conference. Papers will be presented in Chinese, Japanese, Korean or English and simultaneous oral translation will be provided during the conference. We sincerely invite you to be our guest in this conference.

Submission Deadline : January 15 th , 2006


1. Submission Guideline

 

Papers shall be submitted by 15 th Jan, 2996. Please submit the paper with the abstract to Ms. Mandy Lu at r9341004@ntu.edu.tw . (The paper and the abstract shall be written in two files and please mark the filenames with paper and abstract respectively.) Please write with Microsoft Word 98 or more updated versions.

Papers shall not exceed
5000 words in Chinese (for the abstract, 2000 words),
7000 words in Japanese (for the abstract, 3000 words),
7000 words in Korean (for the abstract, 2500 words), or
8000 words in English (for the abstract, 2400 words).

N.B.: Abstracts are for the use of translation, oral presentation and simultaneous oral translation.


2. Review Process and Notification

 

Papers submitted will be reviewed by a Review Committee consisting of scholars specializing in the relevant field. The result of the review will be communicated as soon as possible.
