The ACWH specialises in executing research into current issues. At the very least, current issues research includes 25 short-term research projects at any one time, meaning that the ACWH places substantial emphasis on practicability and timeliness. With constantly changing international economic and trade affairs and tight deadlines, current issues research requires especially strong research capacity and team coordination. To effectively execute this program, current issue study is conducted under the instruction of one or two researchers with Ph.D. degrees. Scholars leading the research team are leaders in the field of international economic and trade affairs. Furthermore, the assistance of students with either a masters or Ph.D. degree in economics or LL.M. students who have passed the bar exam, research is completed in a short time period. ACWH projects are conducted at a level of high professional and academic standards, serving as a reference for the drafting of industrial policies and negotiation strategies on international economic and trade issues.
