Seminar

NTU has established relationships with numerous prestigious international institutions and authoritative scholars in WTO issues and has set up various cooperation mechanisms. There is a channel for communication between NTU and the technical assistance and educational training department in the WTO Secretariat. NTU College of Law allies itself with 12 leading law schools in Asia. Dean Lo also serves on the Board of Governors, which is composed of associated law schools.

The ACWH has considerable experience in economic and trade policy, theoretical and practical issues. By holding meetings or seminars relating to WTO issues, we extend invitations to scholars from developing countries to facilitate dialogue and arrange visits to relevant authorities or think tanks in Chinese Taipei, thus providing technical assistance to developing countries. Furthermore, the Director of ACWH, Dr. Chang-fa Lo, was also an instructor in the Asia-Pacific Regional Trade Policy Courses (RTPC) co-organized by the WTO and Hong Kong University in May 2005 and in May 2006.
